Cattle Services
- Progressive Veterinary Services provides a full in house bovine service. We have a 3500 sq ft facility which centers around a hydraulic chute with tilt. Our in house facility offers easy handling of cattle with minimal direct contact with them. We let our facility do the hard part.
- We offer a full routine vaccination and castration service as well as semen evaluations and pregnancy palpations.
- Our specialty in the bovine area include an extensive foot care service. We can perform feet care on almost any size bull or cow with minimal stress to the animal. Abscess and crack care, maintenance trimming, foot block application, and toe amputations are all routine.
- We also have at our disposal:
- Blood chemistry.
- Reproductive ultrasound capabilities. Pregnancy detection at 30 days.
- Radiology for feet and legs.
- Stalls for long term care.
- One of our special interest in bovine surgery is Gomer bull operations.
